Another E.coli Outbreak, This Time Linked To Cookie Dough
The recall doesn't include Nestlé Toll House morsels, chocolate baking bars, cocoa or Dreyer's and Edy's ice cream with Nestlé cookie dough.
In the last three months, nearly 70 people from 28 states have become ill after eating the dough. Of those, 25 were hospitalized and seven developed hemolytic uremic syndrome, linked with kidney damage, chronic health problems and even death.
I won't make the obvious joke--that cookies are bad for our health. Oops, I just did.
