Remember THIS POST I published last month? It was about Savannah at the Beach (formely Chimayo) offering $10 dinners from March 2-8 in celebration of their so-called 10-year anniversary. Well, right on the heels of that offer expiring, they've decided that they will extend the deal indefinitely.
The blurb on the website and in newsletters? "The $10.00 menu is here to stay".
Now and for perpetuity (or at least until someone at corporate changes their mind) you can have a full meal of filet mignon or crab legs for 10 clams. What's more, the offer isn't just exclusive to the Huntington Beach location; it's now available at all three Savannahs in Orange County.
The three dishes under "The Perfect 10" menu are:
- Premium USDA Choice Filet Mignon with Peppercorn Sauce, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Veggies.
- 1/2 pound of Alaskan King Crab Legs wiith Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Veggies.
- The Catch of the Day.
If anyone partook of these meals already, let us know what you thought.

Awesome deal. Went to Savannah Chophouse in Dana Point (Laguna Niguel, actually). We ordered the filet and the fish (Halibut). Filet was great and I'm more of a ribeye guy and the halibut was excellent as well. I know Savannah though and "here to stay" could mean two weeks.

Whoo Hoo!!! The $10 deal initially was for the month of February - so hubby and I ventured to CM to get our $10 filet mignon. The meal was DEFINITELY worth the price ... but the service was really lousy (we opted to eat in the bar, b/c there was a 45 minute wait for a table.) We've been to the LN restaurant last year, and the service there was excellent ... so we're looking forward to another $10 meal (plus a few drinks at regular price), but this time at the LN location. Hey, for $10 it's a REALLY good deal! Kudos to Savannah!
