Apocalypse double-double...
Let's start this article by fully acknowledging we're lovingly ripping off this concept from our pals at Foodbeast, who remain the country's best national food blog, all from their little SanTana storefront. Then let's admit that the methodology is flawed from the start: Google Earth's satellite images seemingly takes photos at random, so In-n-Outs that we know are always slammed didn't make this list: for instance, the SanTana location off Bristol Street, for instance just north of Civic Center Drive is perpetually slammed, so much so that In-n-Out instituted barricades a couple of years back--yet Google Earth shows no cars at all in either of their two drive-thru.

All this said, the list pretty much fell according to my OC In-n-Out experiences. Of course the Irvine branch across the street from UCI made the cut, along with the Fullerton location off Harbor Boulevard and Orangethorpe. But...Laguna Niguel?! Read on...

10. Laguna Niguel, 27380 La Paz Rd.

Number of cars in drive-thru: 7

This In-n-Out is in what passes as Laguna Niguel's Main Street, and attracts a lot of kids from nearby Aliso Niguel High School.

9. Orange, 3501 E. Chapman Ave.

Number of cars in drive-thru: 8

Another In-n-Out near a high school, this one near El Modena.

8. Anaheim, 600 S. Brookhurst St., Anaheim

Numbers of cars waiting in line: 9

Smack-dab in the middle of Little Arabia, right across the street from the far-superior Saraha Falafel.

The Fullerton location is a mad house but the one in Anaheim on Brookhurst isn't bad at all. The problem with the Brookhurst location is the parking & drive-thru are both small and feels very cramped but when it comes to volume of customers it's actually not bad at all.

Inn and out is good, but I just was telling myself the other day, why the fuck don't they implement bacon on anything? I still love a good old fashioned, Ma and pa hamburger stand over any chain restaraunt, and bacon + avocado usually owns inn n out.

Thats a light day on the HB one... usually they cars cant exit since the cars are waiting in line, and the cars parked cant back up... oh and it dont help its also the driveway to walmart off to the right side and you usually get a line forming from that way as well.. Ive seen many worse though

Marketplace and the worst location is the District, because it's a pain to get in and out of the parking lot

Top that off with the only way to get to Beach Blvd from the Walmart just behind it is through that in-n-out parking lot!

If you think you will save time by parking your car and walking in to order your food you will be in for a long wait. It's better to just stay in your car

I only eat at #1 in HBeach, but Always have to park at adjacent WalMart. I expect the negative enviro drive thru to be outlawed within the decade.

The one on Chapman just east of the 57 (Placentia) doesn't have a drive thru.  So this is totally unscientific! Good fun though!

Laura Converse, would seeing a daily revenue report satisfy you? It's just a hypothetical standpoint to generate debate. It's what they do....size and location should be a part of the equation, this is understood. But this article isn't supposed to be accurate

Haha, of course, but everyone has "The Good Wal-Mart" or "The Good Target" that they prefer to the others.

WHO CARES? How using random pictures from google earth to accurately rank drive thru's is constructive use of anyone's time is beyond me.

I live and go to the HB one and yes its very busy...but in their defense that line is quick....I always get in and out of there....it really isnt that long a wait with as many cars or people are there drive thru or inside....they do an awsome job
