Burger King Giving Away Its "Satisfries" This Weekend For Free

Categories: Bargains

Burger King previously tried to catch the Internet's attention to its new, supposedly healthier line of French fries called "Satisfries" when it "renamed" itself "Fries King." Now it has gone one further: it's simply just going to give away the fries to anyone who asks for it this weekend, with no purchase or other strings necessary. Burger King expects to give away something in the order of 10 million orders, as a big advertising campaign will start today to promote it.

Just go to show, when all attempts to get people to try your product falters, there's always just giving them away.

t’s on display at this huge distribution center in Devens, Mass., where roughly 100 employees work alongside 69 robots that do all the heavy lifting and navigate a warehouse maze the size of two football fields — moving 10,000 pieces of merchandise a day from storage shelf to shipping point faster and more efficiently than human workers ever could.

A lot of Hispanic workers do these type of jobs in warehosuing, so what happens when about a quarter of the low skilled jobs done by Hispanics immirgnats in Orange County get eliminated. Instead of using a Mexican maid to clean the house, Rosie the Robot is use.
