Banh Mi Che Cali Continues Domination

Banh Mi Che Cali, the banh mi shop that is most known for its buy-two-get-the-third sandwich deal, is continuing its OC domination. It started when it took over a big, empty spot that used to house several failed iterations of Chinese restaurant on Harbor in Fullerton. It turned it into a restaurant that served pho as well as its signature banh mi, which coincidentally shares a wall with its rival, Lee's Sandwiches.

Apparently that venture went well because now it has done the same to Pho Bolsa on Brookhurst in Garden Grove. The street-side building is now also called Pho Banh Mi Che Cali, like the one in Fullerton. And like in Fullerton, Lee's Sandwiches isn't far away.

Is the original BMCC in that shopping center still there?  The Fullerton one is pretty awesome, but they don't have the trays of che :(

They might dominate on value, but not on quality. I'd much rather pay a little bit more for Tip Top, Cho Cu or Top Baguette

Half price pho ga, discounts on packaged rice or noodle dinners, plus buy one, get one free boba or tea. I love the location in Monterey Park.
