Taco Bell Crime of the Week: Intoxicated in the Drive-Through with an 8-Year-Old
Oh, Clarksville, Tennessee: what would we do without your fine citizens?
From the Volunteer State:
A Clarksville couple was arrested early Friday morning after they were found intoxicated in a Taco Bell drive through while their 8-year-old was in the car, according to a news release from Clarksville Police spokesman Officer Jim Knoll.
Police responded to an intoxicated driver call at the Riverside Drive Taco Bell at around 12:20 a.m. Friday where they found a woman passed out in the passenger seat of a 97 Ford Thunderbird with a man in the drivers seat, Knoll said.
The man exited the vehicle and said he was driving because his wife, Autumn Neuner, didn't feel good and was in need of an ambulance, Knoll said. The man, Nathaniel Neuner, had slurred speech, and officers later found out that Autumn Neuner had been driving previously, according to Knoll.Autumn Neuner then exited the vehicle but was unsteady on her feet, had trouble staying awake and had slurred speech; she told officers that she had been taking medications throughout the night, Knoll said.
