KCRW to Hold Panel on California's New Cottage Food Law THIS SUNDAY in Santa Ana!

Here at SaFII, we have many friends of the show who are ecstatic about California's new cottage law, the bill that allows people to sell homemade food products without fearing the health inspector will shut them down at a moment's notice. That said, there are still certain regulations that people must follow, not just state but also county, which will just give the same giant headache to crafters that originally existed. So what to do?

Get thee to downtown SanTana this Sunday, to the Cal State Fullerton Grand Central Arts Center, where KCRW-FM 89.9 food goddess Evan Kleiman will moderate a panel on that very subject.

The particulars: 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Grand Central Art Center 125 N. Broadway, SanTana (it's the building next to the Gypsy Den). One of the panelists will be a bigwig from the OC Department of Health. And full disclosure: my chica was supposed to be part of this, but she ain't anymore, which is why I'm writing about it.
