Johnny's Real New York Pizza Expanding To Newport Beach

There's no shortage of pizza parlors, yet new ones keep popping up in our neighborhoods. Like a one hit wonder-- it's tough to get enough notoriety to branch beyond the first. Johnny's in Corona del Mar is one of the lucky few to expand.

Known for their slices and (Italian) ices, their loyal PCH following will soon be able to grab a meal inland as well. And next to one of the more high traffic intersections, no doubt.
It won't be until after the holidays, but "Coming Early 2013" signage can be seen at The Bluffs Neighborhood Center at Bison and MacArthur. Already housing Wildfish, Islands, Pei Wei and Mozambique's Peri Peri quick service, Johnny's should fit right in by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Getting a slice of pepperoni pie and dessert? We're down for a visit to see if their motto "The Way It's S'pposta Be" holds true. Crunchy thin crust, anyone?
