If you want to rob Taco Bell, the company expects certain things to get filched. Money. Food. And...um, that's it.

Certainly not flush valves made of chromed brass worth $300. But that's what's happening in that city of hope called Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

The story:

The manager of Taco Bell, 510 N. Mayfair Rd., reported Tuesday that between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., while the restaurant was open and doing business, someone disassembled and stole the flush valve from the toilet in the men's restroom.

He said the thief had shut off the water to the toilet and left no tools or other evidence behind.

He reviewed video of people entering and leaving the restaurant during the day, but he said no one stood out for any reason and there were far too many to be worth investigating.
