[UPDATED With Details] The Bruery Announces 2012 Black Tuesday Release Date

It's almost here. Black Tuesday, the most famous beer to come out of Orange County, now has a release date. 

The Bruery announced that its epic 19.2% abv bourbon barrel aged imperial stout will go on sale via the web on . . .  

Oct. 30. 

More details will be posted on The Bruery's Facebook page throughout the month.

The decadent beer brewed with rich caramel, toasted malt, vanilla, burnt wood and anise has been called "a masterpiece" and a "truly marvelous concoction" by Beer Advocate reviewers. One taster said it's, "so easy to drink for its style, it should be illegal."

Mark those calendars, beer fans.

Update: Black Tuesday will be sold on this website beginning at 10 a.m. PST on Tuesday, Oct. 30. Bottles will be $30 each, maximum two per person. The beer must be picked up at The Bruery Tasting Room between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31. More details here.
