After jolting the country with the 'Merica Burger, the monstrosity made of 100% ground bacon, the folks at Slater's 50/50 didn't know how they would ever outdo themselves.
Then they had an idea.
They'd simply turn up the heat.
Introducing the "50 Alarm Burger," featuring a fire beef patty with sliced jalapenos, three-alarm Colby Jack cheese, beer battered habanero peppers and ghost chili bacon spread on a brioche bun. R.I.P., our tongues.
Before devouring the beyond-hot burger, guests must sign a waiver and put on protective gloves. The liability release warns that the dish may "result in sweating, abdominal and/or gastrointestinal discomfort, burning, dizziness, crying and overall regret." Sounds excellent. Who's in?
The 50 Alarm Burger will available at all of Slater's 50/50 locations, including Huntington Beach and Anaheim Hills, through the month of August.
