Our monthly roll call is a little late, but here it is: what we observed on this thing called a food blog. There were several openings this month, with a lot of them in Newport Beach. Our short roster of German restaurants became even shorter when Barth's shuttered, replaced by a Thai joint.

It would have been really funny to see Thai Noodle Company under both "RESTAURANT/VENUES OPENED IN JUNE" and "RESTAURANT/VENUES CLOSED IN JUNE."
