Japan KFC's Offered All-You-Can-Eat Gluttony For July 4th

Japan celebrated July 4th in the most American of ways yesterday: stuffing their faces with all-you-can-eat KFC. The chain held a promotion that lasted between 1-4pm at 381 of its restaurants where customers are allotted 45 minutes of "tabehoudai" (that's "all-you-can-eat" in Japanese) gluttony for ¥1,200 (US$15).

Customers were started off with a three-piece plate with fries and a Coke, before they could request more chicken.

At a few KFC's, there were crowds and news crews to document the occasion, not to mention YouTube videos like the one below where fingers were greased, mountains of chicken bones stripped clean, and bad eating habits formed.
