Opa! Here were are again. Another summer, another party. This the 34th annual "A Taste of Greece" at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church in Irvine.

There will be vendors selling gyros, pastichio (Greek lasagna), loucanico (Greek sausage), spanakopita (spinach and feta pie), dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves), saganaki (Greek brandy-flamed cheese) and so much teeth-rotting baklava to give your oral hygenist nightmares. There will be dancing, music, and wine. As with every year, the party lasts three days.

Festival hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 22; noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 23; and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 24.
But the best part is that, unlike other latter day food festivals, the fee to enter is just $3 per person. Children under 10 and seniors over 65 are free on Saturday, June 23. But if you print out this FLYER, admission is FREE!

St. Paul's is at 4949 Alton Parkway between Culver Drive and Jeffrey Road. More info? Click IrvineGreekFest.com.
