Google To Launch A Food Channel on YouTube With Ex-Food Network Exec
| "Cooking With Dog" is one of the most popular YouTube cooking shows. |
Google has hired a former Food Network exec to head a YouTube channel called HUNGRY this summer. Going live on July 2nd, the new offering will feature at least a dozen original programming, which will include, among others, a new series with Duff Goldman from Ace of Cakes, a show called Brothers Green with a pair of Brooklyn "underground caterers" doing weekly food challenges, and Casserole Queens, a series with two Austin women who like cooking retro food, like, well, casseroles. The segments will be short, following the YouTube convention of one to three minutes.
