Girl Scout cookie season is long gone here in OC, but if you're like me and "accidentally" finished the stash that was supposed to last you through the year, you can get your fix another way.
Remember when we wrote about the elusive Nestlé Crunch Girl Scout Cookie Candy Bar? Now you can almost get it in your mouth. The limited-edition bars, which come in three varieties--Thin Mint, Caramel & Coconut and Peanut Butter Creme--will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow on Nestlé Crunch's Facebook page. It's a chance for cookie fiends to get the magical confections before they hit stores nationwide starting June 1.
Here's what makes up the Girl Scout Cookie Candy Bars:
Thin Mints:Dark chocolate cookie wafers and mint chocolate crème, topped with airy crispies and a rich, dark chocolatey coatingCaramel & Coconut (aka Samoa):Cookie wafers layered with coconut caramel crème and chewy caramel, topped with toasted coconut and drizzled with caramel stripesPeanut Butter Crème (aka Tagalong):Cookie wafers layered with smooth peanut butter crème, topped with airy crispies and a creamy, chocolatey coating
The bars will retail for about $1 for singles and $4 a box, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Girl Scouts.
