"Snack Man": New York's Newest Superhero

So there's a viral video of this guy who stopped what looked to be a violent subway scuffle between a man and a woman by inserting himself in the middle of the fight...while casually munching on potato chips.

Move aside, "Ridiculously Photogenic Guy." Eat your heart out, Ryan Gosling. The dude has been dubbed "Snack Man" by the web and has become the talk of New York and websites like this.

The video is pretty amazing. It's as if those potato chips were seasoned with bravery and zen-calmness.

Despite the inevitable web videos that will surely make a parody of the guy, this is the sort of affirmation the world needs these days--there are good Samaritans out there, even in New York.
