Discovery Channel Network To Film 'United States of Bacon' at Slater's 50/50

Discovery Communications recently dumped Planet Green for a new network, Destination America, which is described as "the first and only network to celebrate the stories of America's past, present, and future."
Naturally, those stories involve bacon.
So naturally, producers turned to Slater's 50/50.
This Wednesday, a crew will be at Slater's 50/50 Huntington Beach to film a new show called "United States of Bacon," hosted by celebrity chef Todd Fisher. Slater's 50/50 chef Brad Lyons will be talking about the restaurant's famous 50/50 burger (50 percent ground beef and 50 percent ground bacon) and other pork-fat wonders. Bacon milkshakes! Bacon brownies!
The restaurant invites fans to dine at the location during regular business hours starting at 11 a.m. Says a Facebook post, "You may get your 15 minutes (or seconds) of fame!"
