Bear Flag Fish Company Opens in Crystal Cove

​As we reported last September, Bear Flag Fish Company, the seafood purveyor/restaurant established in 2007 in Newport Beach, was planning second store in Crystal Cove Promenade, which is also kind of in Newport Beach.

According to reader Laliahma, who made a comment on our monthly restaurant roll call post yesterday, the second outpost is now open and ready for your fish mongering needs next to Pacific Whey Cafe.

Featured there should be the same items the original serves, including sashimi, smoked fish, poke, ceviche, oysters, New England clam chowder, a variety of grilled fish plates, tacos, burritos, salads, and sushi from our favorite rocker/itamae Cody Requejo, who was previously the sushi chef at The Retreat in Costa Mesa.
