​Judging by the final tally of this month's "open and shut cases", we gained more restaurants than we lost. But that still doesn't make the closure of Manila Groove, Tustin's only Filipino turo turo, sting less.

What follows is our monthly compilation of new and shuttered restaurants.

The Bear Flag Fish Co. is now open in Crystal Cove...I just drove by it yesterday :)

Salad Republic is open? Guess I'll add that to my list of Friday options....

Oh, and they opened *another* Fresh & Easy off Valley View (Chapman?) in Garden Grove last week. But it's about as large as Irvine's Mitsuwa.
