Do you like what you've read about the Food Revolution program? A new five-week round of classes at Santa Ana's Building Healthy Communities begins the week of March 2, and very limited openings for classes conducted in English are still available. The program is intended for young people, so priority will be given to students ages 10 and over and their accompanying families. If you can attend five consecutive Saturday mornings between 8 and 9:30 a.m., or Mondays nights from 7 to 8:30 p.m., contact Jeanette at the LHA office: (714) 542-7792, ext. 1061. To wrap up this week's Q&A, Lisa Fontanesi has kindly given us Jamie Oliver's minestrone soup recipe, the Food Revolution's current recipe of the month. Because the foundation's work centers on teaching people to read and understand food-nutritional labels, we're going to run the PDF version of this recipe because it includes the nutrition information.
