Aria International Supermarket to Open in Tustin

Aria.jpg

Like a scene from The Game, where Michael Douglas searches for a company that doesn't really exist, Aria Supermarket is a little ambiguous with its public information. With a just-made Facebook page, we get address, hours and a ringing phone. And that's about it.

Replacing the defunct Sears Essentials across from Costco at The Market Place, exterior signage is all they're willing to display for the time being.

The nearest sister location (we think) is in San Diego County's Pacific Beach neighborhood. Carrying Persian, Indian and Mexican groceries, it appears our friends at Super Irvine and Wholesome Choice may have sizable competition. Have you seen the space they plan to occupy? It screams food court, but paired with an untouched parking lot that would make Mitsuwa jealous.

We're all for another ethnic market. Let's hope it lives up to the standards of their competitors, or it'll be just another waste of space.

Aria International Supermarket will be located at 2505 El Camino Real, Tustin, (714) 665-8269.

This is a crappy store. The restaurant food is so disgusting I bet they use rotten veggies AND expired dairy products on their food dishes like all others Irainian "Persian" stores. Yuck! I will NEVER shop there EVER again! Trust me is a nasty store!

True about the owners and the head chef in the Persian restaurant section supposedly is from Mission Ranch Market (best persian food).  I tried the kabob and it was about a 7/10 and the RICE was nothing comparable to that of Mission ranch market (mission's rice is top grade which makes a HUGE difference).  Aria, please don't use rice that will overall destroy the grade of your food!  I hope that you're market becomes overall successful

Went there today to check it out as it finally opened.  Its so big, I am thinking the rent must be huge and there must be alot of partners.   At first I thought it was independent from the others, but when I walked out I saw Alchohol application and it said "Super Irvine II"

Now that Aria is open, I'm thinking customers will find this a BIG step up from the standards other ethnic markets.  For one thing, you can actually go up and down the aisles comfortably.
