Taco Bell Introduces the "First Meal," AKA Breakfast

Years back, Taco Bell started offering a Fourth Meal, but in reality, it was only the Third Meal, because it had yet to introduce a First Meal. . . . Wait, who's on second?

Anyway, the Irvine-based chain is now rolling out that First Meal, better known as breakfast. The menu, which will be available in 750 locations by next Thursday, took five years of testing (and subsequent vomiting) to finalize.

Items that made the cut include a "crunch" wrap filled with sausage, eggs and cheese; four different burritos; and Cinnabon Delights, which are sugar-covered fried dough balls with a cream filling.

I'm suddenly craving a Sausage McMuffin.

Maybe it's a North/South thing, but I was having brekkie burritos from Taco Bell in the Bay Area 'burbs (SSF) since the early 90s. They were the only fast food open besides McDs before my staff meetings.

A couple years ago the location in the Tustin Marketplace had GREAT breakfast burritos, then a few months later they changed with the 'test' menu... it was awful. ALL awful. Even their little breakfast burritos were FAR different and super tiny. Not worthy. Del is soooo much yummier for fast-food breakfast.

It wasn't intended as an insult, but I did try to choose my words wisely because I knew you would assume it was. It's my observation that many of the same things that Michelle posts about are things that Nancy posts about. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, you are interpreting it that way because of your opinion about Nancy (which I'm personally indifferent about).

I do find it interesting that you attack me instead of the person that brought upon my comment.
