I love me a bacon wrapped hot dog or as me and my circle of friends refer to them - "danger dog". Best enjoyed after a sporting event but too bad I only rarely see them (street vendors) here at Angels games or at Honda Center events

I don't care about kosher in most things but I was raised on kosher hot dogs and find the run of the mill wieners kind of gross. A bacon-wrapped Hebrew National dog would be great but somehow I really, really doubt I'll ever be able to find them in the store.
I'm with you... They tend to put lower quality dogs with the bacon rap (i.e. Hoffy). I've made some with Hebrew National and good quality bacon.... Yummm!!! Yeah the kosher thing won't let you see the prepackaged version but really, how hard is it to wrap bacon around a dog
I saw those at Smart & Final over the summer but I didn't buy them. I had to do some cooking myself.

Oscar Mayer advertised them back in the 1950s, but then they disappeared since they really didn't catch on with Americans. Leave it to Mexis to make them popular anew, and for corporate America to eliminate the Mexicans yet again. And the beat goes on...
