[PHOTO] Occupy Chik-fil-A? People Camped Outside Fullerton Location for Chance to Win Free Food for a Year

One day--one glorious day, when stock markets are raging, gas is a buck a gallon, and China is our overlords--someone's going to write the They Shoot Horses, Don't They? of gimmicks involving the opening of chain restaurants, the urging of making people camp for the chance to win free food for a year, and the inanity of it all. In the meanwhile, the above sad souls are camping out for the chance to win free Chick-fil-A for a year, as Michelle reported before.

Good chicken sandwich, though. And that sauce is more addictive than Futurama.

Actually what?  So are we going to debate semantics?  It is a typical tactic of a certain side of the aisle to include the voluntarily unemployed, retired, students etc... Reported unemployment is based on unemployment benefit filings and those are the people who are out of work and NEED to be working... To call your wife unemployed because you chose as a family for her to be a stay at home mom or wife is intellectually dishonest. And good for you for being able to afford that lifestyle. Be careful though you may be implicated as being part of the 1%.

Actually, reported unemployment is 12% in CA, which means that 12% of the people in California are filing for unemployment benefits. My wife is unemployed—by choice—but she is not counted amongst the unemployed.

Still, most people have jobs, even taking into account stay-at-home parents, children, retired people, foetuses, etc.
