CoolHaus to Launch an OC Truck This Spring

CoolHaus, the groovy maker of the "architecturally inspired ice-cream sandwich," is coming to Orange County!

Natasha Case, the company's CEO, tells us it's rolling out two new trucks to serve OC and San Diego starting in the spring of 2012. The flavor lineup will be similar to the LA truck offerings, but there will be some special OC-only additions.

CoolHaus, for the uninitiated, serves up all-natural, handmade ice cream packed between two cookies and blanketed in an edible wrapper.

Some flavors include -- are you ready for this? -- butterscotch with rosemary, blueberry ginger, carrot cake batter, mango sticky rice, peach bellini, roast pear with nutmeg and Nutella-toasted almond.

Spring, are you here yet?

If you can't wait that long, follow CoolHaus on Twitter and see where they are in the LA area.
