ORIGINAL POST, SEPT. 13, 2011, 11:23 A.M.: Around here, Whole Foods is referred to as Whole Paycheck--but Living Social, a flash sale website much like Groupon that usually hawks half-priced facials and massages, is offering a deal today that's proving to be really, really, really popular.

​Right now, Living Social is offering a $20 Whole Foods credit for $10. That'll probably buy you a couple of apples and a loaf of gluten-free bread, but still: Kind of a deal. At least, for Whole Foods.

Over 696,132 people (Edit, 4:25 P.M.: Yep, one million. Edit, 3:50 P.M.: A mere 20K away from one million sold. Edit, 11:41 A.M.: Aaaand now it's at 737,457) have purchased the offer so far, and there's still over 20 hours left to participate.
