A taste for sour beer is typically an acquired one--some brews have an acidic zing that'll make your eyes pop and lips pucker. But if you want to be initiated (and you should), you might as well do it right.
Beachwood BBQ's SourFest 2011
is happening this week, and features more than 70 kegs of acclaimed sour craft beer and special menu items for pairing. Fielding questions will be a few of the brewers themselves--Eric Salazar of New Belgium Brewing Company (tonight), Preston Weesner of Cascade Brewing (Friday) and Patrick Rue of The Bruery (Sunday).
