OC Foodie Fest 2011 Announces Food Truck Lineup

This is the big one, folks. The Coachella of OC food truck events. Get out your walking shoes, elastic waistbands/maxi dresses and dollar bills.

The OC Foodie Fest 2011 is coming to the Angel Stadium of Anaheim in two weeks--Sat., Aug. 27. It's gonna bigger than last year's event at the Honda Center, which was pretty damn massive (8,500 attendees!). Check out Dave's mondo-recap here.

Tickets are on sale now. General admission, which runs from noon to 6 p.m., is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12. Kids under 3 are free. VIP admission is $75, and includes all sorts of perks--early entry, access to a VIP beer and wine bar and a tented seating area, a catered buffet, snacks, water and a gift bag. Yes you pay to get access to over 100 food vendors that aren't always here in orange county but with all the entertainment (4 band line-up, Budweiser beer garden, car show, two huge game areas, shopping, farmers market, cooking contests, live art show, street performers and more)....plusss free snacks and prizes...it's literally worth more than the price of admission...we've spent the year thinking of solutions for the lines, the heat, and adding more entertainment. parking is $8 on site, $5 off site, free in some places, and you can always ride the train or bike in.....plus if you bring can goods for Second Harvest you can get up to 4 free baseball tickets....so a concert, car show, free snacks, farmers market, really cool sponsor prizes, pimped out beer garden, art show, family and game area with rides, arcade and activities for all ages....pllluussss you get to try any number of our 100 food vendors....so maybe not a bad way to spend 20 bucks on a saturday
