TODAY is National Fried Chicken Day, and the Kentucky Fried family is looking to draw your artery-clogged self in for some take-out. Eight pieces of their signature stuff will be specially priced at $4.99. There are a couple of restrictions, however. First off, you can only redeem the coupon in Orange, Ventura, Los Angeles, Riverside, or San Bernardino counties. Second, you have to keep reading to find out.

Folks in San Diego, Kern, and Santa Barbara are SOL on this deal.....but something tells me they won't cry a river over this. We will give KFC a fist pump for their updated packaging efforts, though. Last year, they began using the first reusable food container in fast food, cutting the use of foam by 62%. So load up on napkins and wet wipes; this will get messy.
