crowburgerkitchen Plans To Open This Week in Newport Beach

​Depending on your perspective, we are currently in the midst of a burger Renaissance or a burger fustercluck. There are more places to get a ground beef sandwich now than ever before. Just over the recent few years, we've seen 25 Degrees, DG Burger, and G Burger. Just over the recent months, Bastide's Joseph Mahon's opened Burger Parlor and a new Slater's 50/50 debuted. And that's not even counting the Five Guys invasion, or the new Anaheim Hills TK Burger, or the scoop we revealed about Playground by The Lime Truck's Jason Quinn.

And then there's the highly anticipated crowburgerkitchen, which is The Crow Bar and Kitchen's entry into the foray. The spinoff is located at a revamped The Landing in Newport Beach.

The word on the street is that it's ready to go for an anticipated opening this Saturday. They are just waiting for the liquor license to go through with the ABC (California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control).

In the meantime, we came by a copy of the menu. Since this appears to be a draft version, prices and availability can and might change. But kudos to Steve Geary and Jon Cuevas, who are the owner and chef of Crow Bar and Kitchen, respectively, in including Crow Bar's duck fat fries as a side.
