TK Burger has opened its sixth burger stand -- this time in Anaheim (actually more like Anaheim Hills, but still technically Anaheim). This was news to even us, and if you know us Weeklings, especially the food faction here at Stick a Fork In It, we swear by our TK Burgers and can normally smell the patties cooking a mile away. But we rejoice that there's now another one in the family.

And there are at least two notable things about this newest TK. First, look at the décor. It's possibly the most playfully colorful of the bunch. Second, this location is not more than a few blocks from another homegrown favorite: Slater's 50/50. Let the burger brawl begin.

5701 E Santa Ana Canyon Rd., Anaheim, (714) 282-7400; www.tkburgers.com.

It looks like the OC Weekly is reporting on news late nowadays. Because Nancy Luna(the "Fast Food Maven" of the OC Register) reported this exact news about a week ago. Their interior atmosphere does not look original at all since it looks like the copied from Wahoo's. Whomever at TK's decided for that restaurant to be located there made a very poor decision since the awesome gourmet hamburger restaurant Slater's 50/50 is just several blocks away from this place and it's without a doubt that Slater's has much better hamburgers than TK's.

Maybe it's just me, but I really have no desire to try Five Guys and the more fancier burger joints when TK keeps crankin' out great burgers, one after another.  We Americans always keep searching for more, more, more...but I'd still rather go to TK Burger for lunch on my birthday.

What's up with the corporate-slick decor? They better not try to Disney up the Suicide Girl cashiers, either. We like TK just the way it is in HB and Costa Mesa.

I agree!  It looks like Wahoo's.  Hopefully the quality won't be the same as Wahoo's.....
