And yes, "Ching Chong ling long" is comparable to that of "N" word as that is a term to disenfranchise, degrade and denigrate a race of people. The "N" word is used for the same purpose and being white, you're privy to hatred, because, your ancestors were the progenitors of hate. Don't think so? Columbus was a conqueror, The Spaniards were conquerors, the U.S. conquered Asia and taught them Christianity (another white man's creation), they conquered Hawai'i, and the list goes on. So to say, there is no comparison shows that your white blinders blinds you to certain aspect while gives you a limited glimpse to a picture that is interconnected to each other. • There is a restaurant in Belmont Shore called "Me Soo Hungry". The name is almost tame in comparison to Ching-Chong-Ling-Long Gourmet Takeout, but I still wouldn't eat there, either.

So who picks up the loss in city, state and federal revenue? You do. You are bailing out this restaurant and your tax money is paying for everything they do. •  I have to agree with a portion of the above response. This takes the whole fighting racism with jokes just a little too far. Im not even Asian and I dont want to even say the name of place, let alone go there. I get what they are trying to do, but its name that makes even this white person cringe and not want to spend my money there to even lend ANY credence whatsoever to this particular issue. Best thing that could have happened, was that this girl was forgotten. This is a good way to keep her noticed, not for the racism anymore but because she made a youtube video saying spouting some words some people, that business owner included, apparently finds comical. That owner has to find that string of words comical to some degree in order to reconcile himself with it all and then name his/her business after some racist bull-ish. This is really a daft move by the business owner. Similarly, a Mexican (which I am half) isnt going to name his business "Wetbacks Burritos"...if there is, please tell me a difference...oh yea, the millions of youtube videos jerking Mexicans around dont exist. That UCLA chicks video was moronic and the name of this business is just as...she be present for the grand opener. Might as well have the "celebrity" who offered you a schtick for your restaurant. Clearly, your lack of imagination will translate to the food. Sub-par imagination with a questionably business practice, leads me to think this will be sub-par food with questionable ingredients.

Because my tax money is being used to bail them out. Ching-Chong-Ling-Long Gourmet Takeout is no exception. Why must my tax money pay them to fight racism with racism? I'm being to sensitive? Well, it is my money and my expectation of money is to improve the commons, no degrade a race of people in a backhanded way. So, yes the comments are offensive. Yes, they do have their First Amendment Rights, but at the expense of using our taxes? Now, if they do pay taxes in full and don't accept tax breaks, then fine, I have no issue. But if they do and they would be stupid if they didn't, I want to see my tax money at better use.
