The Crazy-Ass, Psychedelic, Uber-Blond Commercial for "The Swedish Diet" Weight-Loss Product

CVS Pharmacy is actually more gourmet than its stained carpets and weirdly tattooed patrons might suggest--but that's another post. This one deals with a weight-loss product they sell called The Swedish Diet. How can you not love a product that proclaims, "Given the choice... what would you rather do to lose weight [bold in the original]: knock back a glass of the Swedish Diet Cleanse two times a day and follow simple guidelines for eating, or go to the gym to struggle away on a relentless Stairmaster?"

Whether you can trust it is another story--then again, how can you not trust those fetching, dirty-blonde gals in the commercial above? Say "Ja!"

That's a very long question. I'm not sure the target audience is clear here... although the product is targeted for women, the imaging is more for men. Hmm, but sales should be the best way to find out if it was effective.

Ouch, brain hurts!  Blond cheese-ball slapstick song with fragmented attempts at what I think is dancing? The pain, the Pain!!  Oh, but for the guys, I think there are a couple cooch shots, that or one is harboring a gerbil under her skirt...
