Duff Beer--It Exists! (But Only in Latin America)

It's real!
"Duff Beer for me, Duff Beer for you . . ."

The Miami Herald has discovered the famous fictional lager at real-life bars in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile. The bottles, sold for about $5.50 each, bear the same logo as the ice cold brew chugged nightly by Homer and friends at Moe's.

20th Century Fox would not disclose to the paper whether it has a licensing agreement with the Duff producers, though Simpsons' creator Matt Groening has previously stated that he would not license the beverage in the U.S. for fear that it would encourage children to drink.

In TV land, Duff is the lowest of swill, the likely equivalent of Keystone Light.

Which means . . . America would love it. Come on, bring it over!
