• borrowing money to stay in college to live cuz there are no jobs well if you are a liberal arts/ethnic studies/self therapy major mcdonalds and home depot are hiring and you probably should just drop out now rather than acquire more public subsidized debt since your degree will have little value in the marketplace

• I can kind of get on board with this, only because there are so many other entitlement programs tha can be cut before spending on education. And the fact that the increases in the cost of education far outstrip that of inflation. The students are a little misplaced though in their haste to protest. They need to go stage their protest at the EDD office in Santa Ana (Dont you dare Gustavo its he closest one to Fullerton) And protest all of the people still leaching off the state a year and a half after the "Great Recession" allegedly ended. I can name several other programs that could also be eliminated but thats for a different day. But at the end of the day my wife and I both went to CSUF and no one else paid our way Good practice for the "Real World" because whe SCE raises your rates or Verizon increases your texting plan you have to suck it up and pay it... They wont give a shit if you go eat Ramen on their front porch!
