Free Chick-fil-A Lunch This Thursday and Friday

Winner! Winner! Chicken...lunch?

​"Ain't no such thing as a free lunch," must have been written by someone who never went to Chick-fil-A. At least, that's what you'll think after hearing this nugget of water- cooler gossip. There's nothing official written on their web site, but a tipster sent me a text relaying what she heard on the radio.

Chick-fil-A in Southern California is giving away free sandwiches from 12 to 2 p.m., today and tomorrow; no strings attached. Not a secret word, foursquare check-in, or even a coupon to print. I confirmed this deal with the two locations closest to me. Their reasoning? Only to introduce chikin' to folks who aren't already familiar with their food.

Just because it's free doesn't mean you can stroll in at 1:50 p.m. expecting to snag one. It's one per person, while supplies last. If you don't believe me (naysayers know who they are), feel free to contact your neighborhood CfA to confirm. Maybe they don't like you, but my locations do.

Oh, and they taste even better if you've got the pocket change to upgrade the sandwich to a whole wheat bun with lettuce, tomato and provolone--just sayin'!
