Good Food with Evan Kleiman to Host First Happy Hour in Orange County! At the Crosby! Alongside OC Weekly!

​For years, I have had Orange County-based fans of KCRW-FM 89.9's Good Food with Evan Kleiman bug me about asking the host to have an event in la naranja--you know, like all the events she has up in Los Angeles, best of which is the show's Happy Hour, where Kleiman does nothing more than kick it with fans at a great restaurant. I try to explain to them that it's not an easy proposition--Kleiman has a restaurant to run, workshops to teach, and quite the busy schedule. But her fans didn't understand, and became sad--and then asked if I could get her to interview them. Sigh...

But that is now changing. Mark you calendars, people: Evan is bringing her Happy Hour to Orange County for the first time ever in March--and Stick a Fork in It, like the opportunistic remoras we are, will use this opportunity to have our first-ever public event. Details after the jump!

The event will happen Thurs., March 10 at the Crosby starting at 7 p.m. The Crosby will offer drink and food specials; Evan will mingle with the masses; Forkers will give out goodies. All of those details to come--in the meanwhile, if you're a Good Food fan, GO GO GO--if we show them that OC supports the show, they promise to do more events down here. See you there!
