Taco Bell to Invade Southeast Asia?

Categories: Chain Reactions
Will the spread of Mexican food across the world ever cease?

No.

Will Taco Bell be there every step of the way to act as the gateway drug and make billions?

Damn straight. Details after the jump!

Nation's Restaurant News is reporting that the Bell's parent corporation, Yum Brands!, is planning to aggressively spread across Asia, specifically Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. Most of the article talks about KFC, Yum!'s most popular international brand, but one can only hope a new generation of eaters finally creates satay hard-shelled tacos or pho menudo after getting grossed out by Taco Bell one too many times. . . .

Taco Bell isn't mexican food. It needs to quit kidding itself.

Actually, we shouldn't be as embarrassed as Mexicans. Nothing worse than someone else exporting a bad interpretation of your culture.

Now if we can get it to go the other way... A Bahn Mi chalupa could work.

diarrhea for the whole world over. Is it any wonder our delicious mexican food gets a bad rap, when pretenders like this swill are all over the place? Sour cream and cheddar cheese, just like my nana used to make :/
