As ustedes prepare your Christmas dinners, amuse yourself during the downtime by looking at the insanity we wrote about this past week!

Edwin wrote a great defense of the Filipino fast-food magnate, Jollibee, whose march into Anaheim is already bringing out the Know Nothings. Sticking to the Pinoy path, Edwin profiled Ross Pangilinan of Leatherby's, and also put ma po tofu in the ring for Dueling Dishes.

Dave gave us a recipe for gingerbread cupcakes, had a suggestion for the Canter's luxe-lonchera, and is hoping Santa will comply with his Christmas OC food list.

I visited where Glen Bell began his taco empire, gave some background on why some tamales have olives but not all, found out that KFC markets itself uniquely in Japan during Christmas, and offered my thoughts on THE food story of the week: the outing and booting of Los Angeles Times restaurant critic S. Irene Virbila by some loser restaurant.

Shuji wondered what noun we should bestow on a gathering of food trucks (my vote is with CLUSTERTRUCK!!!) and caught up on the Haven ATM robbery. And Michelle went behind the scenes of Disneyland's annual candy cane making madness (and gave her fellow Weeklings big chunks--gracias, Michelle!)
