Endless Food and Fun Opens In Huntington Beach

• After flip flopping between this place and johns incredible pizza we chose this this place to watch a charger football game. This place is supposed to be family friendly with something for everyone. Since we had children we thought this would be a perfect place to spend a Sunday. Boy did we choose wrong! We got to the sports room excited to see other locals in jerseys. When the game was getting ready to start the manager could not change the game that was on because 4 of the owners friends were there and wanted to watch a different team. Instead of the owner telling his 4 friends to sit around the bar (where children are not allowed) he decided to leave the game on what they wanted to watch. So the 25-30 paying customers had to stand around the bar tv watching the game while his 4 friends had the entire room to themselves.WhenI spoketo theowner the owner was rude and told me I should stay home next time to watch the game. We were one of the first groups in when they opened and thefood tasted like it was leftover from the night before, there were gnats all over the place, the bathrooms were dirty with no paper towels, there were wire cutters and exposed wires next to drinks where the kids were to redeem their tickets, the fire extinguisher was laying on the ground turned on its side, the emergency exits did not have alarms so children could just walk out, the only "prizes" that a child could realistically get was candy and half the machines were out of order. For this place not opening up very long ago I expected furniture to not be repaired by duct tape. On a brighter notethe bartender and manager were very nice and apologetic! The owner could really learn something from them. I would not recommend my worst enemy to visit this establishment!

• The food was bland and there was not any magic. The idea is done and not very fresh. He could have franchised a Chuck E. Cheese for less than half he spent. Good luck. I hope Delecioso is better than the rest of the food. The games are terrible...very disappointing... most did not work and seemed rather old.

• You are not too smart!!! The drinks are 2.29 and the buffet is all you can eat for two hours but they don"t enforce that unless the place gets packed, you are a fool. When I was there everything was GREAT.

• WARNING: The place should be called Endless Fraud and Failure. Even assuming this is still a soft opening, this place is simply unacceptable. What is with the two hour buffet versus the all you eat buffet choice? And just in case you're not confused by those options, soft drinks are another $2.99. I've never seen such a stupid pricing scheme. FAIL. The buffet food was disappointing and in no way resembled the video. The limited game selection won't impress anyone. The stingy ticket awarding games bordered on fraud. A reasonable prize bigger than a tootsy roll would require hundreds of hours of play and thousands of dollars. The Magic Claw games will likely retain their prizes because the genius who fills the machine assures that the prizes never approach the level that the claw drops to. Hey, E.F.F., F.Y. Can you believe you committed to a lease on a 47,000 sq building for this loser. Reinvent yourself fast because you make Chuck E. Cheese look like a Disneyland.

• Wow, that really was crazy. Not sure about the combination of fine dining and Laser Tag, but the video is pretty terrific.

• Speaking of Chuck E Cheese. Have you noticed that every location smells like soiled baby diapers?

• Ten years or so ago, Microsoft released a commercial for Internet Explorer (version 6, I think) which featured as a soundtrack "Confutatis maledictis" from Verdi's Requiem. The lyrics go as follows: <I>Confutatis maledictis Flammis acribus addictis Voca me cum benedictis.</I> "When the cursed have been damned And consigned to the acrid flames Call me with the blessed." Flash forward to today, and this would-be family restaurant has used "Preliator" by Globus (used in Final Fantasy VII), which is based on "Lacrimosa", which itself a line from the same piece ("Dies ir�dies illa") in the Roman "Missa pro defunctis". Here are the lyrics from the Missale Romanum and their translation: <i>Lacrimosa dies illa Qua resurget ex favilla Iudicando homo reus.</i> "Tearful will be that day When from the ashes arises The man whose deeds are to be judged." (The actual lyrics to the Globus piece are not exactly those, but they're still martial and completely inappropriate for the business.) Good going, advertising flacks: you fail.

• That little girl with the dead eyes munching on bread/human flesh creeps me out. Nevertheless, I will probably try this place out.
