Veterans Day Specials & Freebies For Active Duty Personnel and Veterans

Veterans Day specials and freebies abound on November 11, 2010 for all our fine active duty personnel and veterans. Here is a round-up of a few chains which are offering free meals and other treats.

• Applebee's - Free meal. 
• Chili's - Free meal.
• Hooters - Free meal.
• Outback Steak House - Free Bloomin' Onion and beverage.

Also offering specials and freebies are a few non-chains:

• Anaheim White House - All military personal including veterans and active duty will receive 50% off all lunch or dinner entrees.
• Avalon Bagels to Burgers - Free breakfast or lunch.
• Back Bay Bistro - Those donning their uniforms (or showing up just with their military I.D.) will receive a free lunch (one entrée per person).
