"Mexican" Coke on Continental Airlines

• Not outsourcing, they used left overs from international flights that were catered in latin american on your flight... suck up the cane sugar and be happy.

• Unopened sodas are recycled throughout the airline network and typically when an aircraft is catered in an international city local sodas are boarded. So when a flight from Mexico arrives in Houston the unopened sodas are removed and redistributed with the US sodas onto another flight. Not uncommon, I had Japanese Coke before on a Continental flight.

• A number of years ago I flew Continental between LA/DC/Florida/Newark. They had cans of Coke from Germany. It was great to taste "real Coke" again.
