Why I Bought It:
OK, I admit it. I bought this Tabasco Brand chocolate just for the tin. I did not care what would be inside it or whether it was a good idea to pair the flavor of Tabasco with chocolate. This is obviously a novelty item and I think the folks at Tabasco know it. Perhaps they made it to sell at their factory tour gift shop on Avery Island, Lousiana.

No matter.

Like I said, I just wanted the tin. I'm not sure what I'll use it for. It's too thin to hold much spare change. Maybe stamps? Or spare SD cards? Keys?

Point is, the tin is cool and it just might just be a collector's item one day. My future descendants (whom will inherit this from me) will go to the 2110 Antiques Roadshow and will be surprised, nay shocked, to hear that it's worth a cool billion (probably the equivalent of a few hundred bucks in our dollars). As they look up into the heavens and thank me for spending $3.99 at Cost Plus on it for this silly column of mine, I will wink down and say, "No problem, and sorry I ate all the chocolate."

Tasting Notes:
It's like wedges of dark chocolate with a hint of Tabasco sauce lingering in the aftertaste. Now, don't bother me. I need to find a time capsule or something like that to safely stash the tin.
