As usual, too many great stories this week on this infernal blog--read them all! Too lazy? Some highlights after the jump! I focused mostly of our local megachains this week: news that the founder of Claim Jumper wants his bankrupt baby back, news that the Colorado phenomenon Geeks Who Drink has finally invaded OC and the ridiculous conditions the SanTana Planning Commission is putting on a new Subway just to open.

Shuji told of Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen in Orange offering the seven legendary moles of Oaxaca in honor of Día de los Muertos--take that, Rick Bayless!

Dave featured for our On the Line segment Jagdish Sanai of a restaurant I still have to visit: Punjabi Tandoor, in my hometown of Anacrime. He also told us where to find a much-better cheesecake than the ones you find at the Cheesecake Factory and brought out the fangs of food purists when he delineated five signs of a great pho shop.

Edwin matched sisig versus sisig and told of a Nutella-eating contest NEXT WEEK. And Vickie did a slideshow of 10 food-themed Halloween costumes and revealed Chipotle wants you to dress like a chicken nugget for one of its burritos.
