Restaurateur To Get "Humanitarian Of The Year" Award

Categories: News

Remember Bruno Serato? How could you not?! He's the chef/owner of Anaheim White House, who despite struggling to keep his restaurant afloat, for the last few years has been donating his time, money and efforts to feeding underprivileged children at the Anaheim Boys and Girls Club six days a week.

Haven't heard the story? Watch this CBS News segment to catch up.

Well, since that story aired he's been flooded with reservation requests at his restaurant, and now, he's being distinguished as Humanitarian Of The Year at the inaugural Anaheim International Film Festival (AIFF) on Saturday, Oct. 16. Sure, it sounds like it's the first time that anyone's received the award, an award that seems to have been created with him specifically in mind, but he deserves it.
