We here at the Weekly get along rather swell, with the biggest dust-ups usually caused by my loud voice whenever I do a radio interview. We're definitely no Taco Bell, and none of us would ever stab each other eight times in assorted body regions.

From the witchy Salem, not the capital of Oregon Salem:

A feud between two employees at Taco Bell on Highland Avenue escalated to violence on Saturday when a man was stabbed eight times by his co-worker, police said.

The victim, who suffered stab wounds to the head, chest, and abdomen, was bleeding heavily when police first arrived. He was later taken to Salem Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance.

By last night, he was no longer listed as a patient in the hospital, according to hospital staff.

Police responded to the Taco Bell at 267 Highland Ave. at 9:17 p.m. Friday, hours before the stabbing, for a reported fistfight.

The fight ended before police arrived and neither man wanted to talk about the incident to police.

At 3:50 a.m., police received a report of the stabbing.
