Taco Bell Crime of the Week!

​If someone rear-ends you while driving, you usually stop and get the person's insurance information. If someone rear-ends you while in a Taco Bell drive thru, RUN! That is, SPEED OFF! At least this is the lesson learned from--where else?--Texas. Finally, Lubbock gets on the map for reasons other than Buddy Holly, Texas Tech, and when UFOs invaded the town:

The man accused of shooting another in the back several times in the Wal Mart parking lot near 4th & Frankford in February made a brief appearance in court Wednesday.

Sultan Al-Bizri, 22, faces both state and federal charges. At the federal level he is accused of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.

At the state level, Al-Bizri faces an assault charge and more; accused of shooting Devon Napper, 20, who survived. Police at the time said Al-Bizri rear-ended Napper in a Taco Bell drive thru. Napper told police he followed Al-Bizri to the nearby Wal Mart parking lot where they got in a verbal argument. Napper told police he thought he had been shot at least 10 times.
