Coming soon to an airline near you: keg stands in free fall.

All Nippon Airlines announced today that they will begin serving draft beer on internal flights, principally to and from Okinawa. The advertisement states that prices per cup will be 800¥-1000¥ (US $9.15-$11.43).

Because of the limited size of the specially designed keg, only 20 beers will be available per flight, and you know what that means: JAPANESE GAME SHOW-STYLE CONTEST!

Draft beer on planes is an idea whose time has come; we encourage all American flag-carrier airlines to follow suit immediately and to start soliciting local breweries. Bootleggers, Bruery, Tustin BrewCo, you are missing an opportunity here... you ought to be served in kegs aboard all flights into or out of John Wayne.
