Iron Chef Cat Cora Appearing At South Coast Plaza on Monday

​Cat Cora, one of the three big heads you'll see (on gigantic posterboard) when you walk into Macy's Signature Kitchen at Macy's Home Store in South Coast Plaza, is actually going to be there in the flesh, Monday, June 21st at 6:30 p.m. to share tips on throwing "stylish" dinner parties.

She'll be joined by Lloyd Boston, who isn't one of the three big heads, but is, I am told, an expert on style. At least I think so, because "Style Guy" seems to preface his name. And I mean, who would know better about style when it's part of your name?

The event is open to the public and anyone interested can call (877)844-3751 to RSVP. During the presentation, the Iron Chef will do demos from a new cookbook she'll also be signing called "Classics With a Twist: Fresh Takes on Favorite Dishes."

What about the other two big heads (recent Top Chef Master winner Marcus Samuellson and Nancy Silverton)? Well, they'll come around here soon enough...when are their next cookbooks coming out anyway?
